TSS and domestic work: verify the current procedure

What to prepare and confirm with the TSS before following an older guide on domestic-worker enrolment, coverage and social-security contributions.

Before following a domestic-worker enrolment tutorial, check its date and sources. Appearing in a search result does not make it current.

Why 2022 tutorials need context

Judgment TC/0879/23 declared CNSS Resolution 551-08 unconstitutional. We therefore do not present its old amounts as a current tariff for new enrolments. Read the complete decision for its scope, including the position of workers already enrolled.

What to confirm with the TSS

Ask which procedure is currently available for your case, the applicable regime, documents, coverage and contributions. If the person is already enrolled, explain that before starting another process. Do not stop payments or coverage based solely on an online article.

What you can prepare now

Organise both parties’ identification and contact details, start date, salary, working days and existing enrolment records. Keep documents in a restricted-access location and share only what the procedure requires.

Once instructions are confirmed, retain the response, case references and receipts. HogarStaff can organise the employment file; uploading a document to the app is not equivalent to completing enrolment with the TSS. Keeping that distinction clear prevents a saved file from being mistaken for an accepted official application.
