The divisor almost nobody gets right
If there is one thing to take from these calculators, it is this: the daily wage for statutory purposes is not the monthly salary divided by 30. It is the monthly salary divided by 23.83, which is the 286 working days in a year spread over 12 months.
The difference is roughly 20% on every day of salary, and it affects severance, notice pay and holiday pay alike. Across a multi-year settlement that gap runs to tens of thousands of pesos. Resolution CNS-01-2025 of the National Salary Committee uses this divisor explicitly.
