Terms of use
Updated: July 20, 2026
What these terms cover
These terms govern use of hogarstaff.com and its free calculators. Use of the application is governed by the terms you accept in-product when creating an account.
The calculators are not legal advice
This is the most important point on this page. The calculators follow the articles of the Dominican Labour Code cited in each result, and the formulas are shown so you can verify them. However:
- They are estimates. A real case may have particulars a calculator does not capture.
- They do not replace a labour lawyer or advice from the Ministry of Labour.
- Using a calculator does not create any professional relationship between us.
For decisions with consequences — a settlement, a dismissal, a claim — consult a professional before acting.
Accuracy of information
We take care that the legal figures on this site are correct and current, and each one states the article or resolution it comes from. Even so, legislation changes and salary resolutions are updated. Always verify against the official source before making an important decision.
Where we have not been able to confirm a figure against an official source, we say so explicitly on the page where it appears.
Use of the site
You may use the calculators freely, including professionally. What is not permitted is reproducing the site or its content as your own, or automating requests in ways that degrade the service for others.
Intellectual property
The content, design and software of this site belong to HogarStaff. The legal texts cited (Labour Code, resolutions) are in the public domain.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is. We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of its results without appropriate professional verification.
